Progress Report No. 2

We have now reached Lizard and have walked 524.75 kilometres and climbed 17,007m. This is the equivalent of walking from our apartment in Wellington to Te Rapa on the northern outskirts of Hamilton and climbing Mt Everest nearly twice.

The Lizard is another milestone as it is the southern most point in mainland Britain. From Land’s End we have been going east but now we will also be going slightly north.

There is now a background weariness even when we have a good night’s sleep and a good rest. But we are still enthusiastic about keeping going.
