Progress Report

We have now walked 410 kilometres from Minehead to St Ives. This is 40% of the distance from Minehead to Poole. About 820,000 steps. Only about 1,200,000 steps to go!

Soon we will reach Land’s End, the most westerly point of mainland England and then The Lizard, the southernmost point of the British mainland.

Before you reach Land’s End you feel you are walking away from Poole which is true as the crow flies, but after, every step feels as though it is a step nearer to your goal.

We are loving it 95% of the time. There is always some part of the day when you just want to get there, by some magic to be transported to your hotel, have a hot shower and collapse.

The bodies are pretty good, not perfect but holding together so far. Fingers crossed this continues.
